Better Rider Education … Skills Training.

For many, learning to ride stops from the time they successfully pass the standard motorcycle test, I like to think that …

“Only when a rider or driver has passed their test does the real learning begin”.

Educationalists believe in the experiential learning cycle

i.e. Events happen - we experience - we learn....

It is a sad fact that some people do not get the benefit of the learning cycle and it is the ‘doing’ that leads to a serious or even a fatal error.

There is a need to make an effort to reach the majority or riders whose aim is to enjoy their motorcycle and simply wish to become more competent riders.

It is my aim to show that we have a duty to open rider’s eyes to the benefits of Rider skills Training and increase the participation of riders in, post DSA, test Motorcycle Training schemes...
