Contact BikeSafe

South Yorkshire

As a national police-led initiative, BikeSafe is directed towards increasing the awareness of road safety and create a desire to learn about safer riding. BikeSafe’s aim is to reduce road casualties and in 2008 -2009 South Yorkshire saw a reduction in casualty numbers.

Between 2008 and 2009 they were 666 motorcycle casualties in South Yorkshire, while we acknowledge this is still too many, it is an improvement on previous years, an improvement which has continued into 2010.

We continue to engage with the motorcyclists of South Yorkshire and surrounding areas to promote safer motorcycling with BikeSafe being a key area of rider education.

All courses are held between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm at the South Yorkshire Police Operations Complex, Europa Link, Sheffield, S9 1XX.

Please remember to bring your driving licence, current insurance certificate and current M.O.T test certificate (if required) for verification.
