Dear Sir, I wish to thank the organisers of the Cambridgeshire BikeSafe scheme, in particular PC Darren Oscar who ran the latest course based in St Neots. I am given to understand that the officers involved run the course on a voluntary basis which displays great generosity and public service from those individuals involved. The course was well organised and delivered and provided a wealth of useful information. I have no doubt that the skills and confidence I have taken from this course will substantially improve my riding which will improve my enjoyment of riding a motorbike in addition to substantially reducing my risk of being in a traffic accident. I realise that the police are under great pressure from the government to continually cut budgets and overheads and I would very much hope that the BikeSafe scheme does not suffer through these cuts. I am sure that the reduction in accidents afforded by running the course must pay for itself several times over. I have benefited from it greatly and shall be recommending it to all the bikers I know.
Hi I have just finished a bikesafe course with Cambridgeshire Police and would like to say how informative the course was and i thought it was ran very well. Special thanks to Mr Simon Burgin who did the classroom work and also thanks to Doug McKenzie who took me on my ride out, these two policeman really know their stuff and i really learnt a lot from the course and them, keep up the good work
I recently attended a Bikesafe couse at Thorpe Wood and would just like to pass on my thanks to Tony & Dave for the very informative classroom sessions and to Kieth for the observed ride. I would never have thought that being as long in the tooth as I am I could still learn some very valuable motorcycling lessons. I found the observed ride really enjoyable, being able to put into practice what we`ed learnt over the evening lessons. Once again many thanks guys, and long may Bikesafe continue.
