About Devon & Cornwall BikeSafe

The Devon and Cornwall Police are fully committed to promoting and delivering BikeSafe and recommend it as an insight into what can be achieved from post test motorcycle training.
It is our intention to actively encourage the use of motorcycles on the roads of Devon and Cornwall throughout the year and not just within a ‘motorcycle season’.

We run our BikeSafe sessions into the winter months and believe that by riding all year round, rather than on sunny Sunday afternoons, skills are maintained and enhanced, thereby making the rider safer.
As Police motorcyclists we know that it is our training that keeps us safe. We recommend all motorcyclists to invest in themselves and their own safety by taking further training.

BikeSafe is the first step towards safer, more fulfilling and, hopefully, lifelong riding.
